Ouch

I am ok but my sore hurts a little. I've got panadol if it hurts. I now wear a skin coloured bandaid. My eye shadow is now yellow and purple. Here is a photo of my stitches. 

Only for bird lovers

A quick intro: I will be adding to this page almost every day so keep a look out on this page. There might even be several pages.(especially for A.A.S)

Today (31 May) I saw 2 ducks (mallard) It  had  emerald green on it's wings and the rest of the body was brown and white. We also saw lots of different species of pigeons and some sparrows. Here is a environment (man made) that ducks and maybe sparrows and pigeons live in.

Arc de triomph

Today we visited Arc de triomph. It is also called Arc de too late because Napoleon died during construction and about a century later the government finally allowed it to be completed.

The markets

Today we visited the markets. They are on every Sunday but not for the whole day. We bought lunch and it was bread, fruit and cheese. We had it in the playground.

Pathway in the sky

Today we walked across the Promenade Plantee which means 'landscape trail'. It used to be a railway but got turned into a garden trail and you can see lots of different plants. It also gives you a view of the streets and parks of Paris. It is very long.

Notre-dame

We're on the streets of Paris and visiting Notre-Dame.Its one of the most beautiful churches we have seen. There's also a park behind it. The park is also beautiful and we are all surprised how good Kate's French is.

Settling in

I know what it says on the title, but I can't think of anything else to say. We woke up at 2 am and the sunrise is beautiful! This is the view from our apartment window.

We had baguettes for breakfast.they are delicious!

Recovering

I feel better. My eye shadow has changed color. The man at the chemist was good. He gave me a Barbie bandaid. Thank you for all your love.

Paris

Finally we arrived in Paris and it is amazing! Our apartment is so nice but it is up four windy staircases.

Back on the plane

It's another day and we are back on the

Another surgery

Day one

Relaxing

We have just arrived at Dubai international hotel.It is in the middle of the 

 airport . I think we're settling in to the

Operations?????!!!!

Today Jason had an operation to have his gallbladder removed.

It has just ended and Jason is well and healthy for the trip.

getting ready

we've bought so many books  on paris,venice and egypt that I think our house might explode.
we've bought headphones and a 5 way audio splitter.
we've updated our passports.
