Adventures in the trees

Yesterday was one of the best days ever.
We woke up early and drove to Oslo summer park which is one of the biggest high ropes (like the one in Paris) parks in the world. There are so many courses and they are so long that I only got to do three of them in six hours.

We arrived, got our gear and did the training course. I went off and did the higher courses (only for people over 140 cm) while Jason, Juliet and Phoebe did a lower course (it was for people over 110 cm but it was a bit too hard for Juliet). They all took up to two hours. Juliet and Kate then went to do a very low course for kids Juliet's age while Jason, Phoebe and I went to do a course which was just really long ziplines. When we were almost finished Phoebe started crying because the last long one was too scary (and we realised she wasn't the right height for the course). We had to wait for ages for a guy to come and put her on a pulley and lower her down while Jason and I finished the course.

We had lunch then did one more course each. Then we had three hour drive to Geilo, a ski town. When we got there we found a trampoline and a playground. We were SO tired. We unpacked and went to have dinner. We had sausages and chips and mum bought us a hot chocolate with cream. We got home and when straight to bed because we were really tired.

  2. Hi Jem on some of the zip line ones above the cliffs if you looked down it was terrifying. Also there was a wobbly log one which went up hill which was really scary and difficulty. Love Olivia
Hi Jem it was really scary on the high one but I was so relieved to be rescued. That was fun though going down on the pulley. Love Phoebe
The big one I did at first was scary. The kids one I did was fun. I liked it because it was right for my age. The flying fox at the end was the best. Love Juliet

    1. Don't worry. Phoebe loved getting rescued. It was so much fun. Heaps of people all over the park were getting rescued all the time. The guides like it too because they get to go up into the ropes.
