Phoebe and Jason Shopping
At night when its busy Dad and I go shopping. We go to the 'Welcome Supermarket'. It's really stinky because of the durian fruit. We have bought sugar and tea and breakfast things. I like going there because it's only me and Dad. Last night we also got food for dinner. At night on the street it's really busy and humid. I beg Dad for a hand held electric fans and he always says 'no'. But I secretly snuck in some 'mentos' in the shopping last night.

Well done, Phoebe but what is durian fruit? Do we have them in Australia? Why would anyone eat them if they smell that bad? Perhaps they sell pegs with them to put on your nose while you eat them.
ReplyDeleteIt is a spikey green fruit. I think we saw it at tropical fruit world in Queensland.
ReplyDeleteApart from the durian, this post is making me hungry – think it's time for some dinner here.
ReplyDeleteWhen do you fly out of Hong Kong Phoebs?
We have one more day in Hong Kong
