Egypt

After a three hour flight to Cairo, we have arrived. It is 32, a pretty cool summer. Our family hired a mini bus so we're driving everywhere, no more walking! We had an awesome lunch of soup, chicken and something called ruaa, which is meat and pastry.

The sunset is fantastic! The sun looks like a glowing ball with pink, orange and yellow streaking the sky.

This is the sunset

Here is our meal

Here's the panorama of our apartment.

Here is when we came out at the airport. It looked like they were putting on a whole ceremony to welcome us. But it was a wedding.

  1. I'm so pleased you have arrived safely in Egypt. Teta looks like she is in her element cooking sumptuous meals for her family. Have a wonderful time together.

  3. Another wonderful post girls. Make sure that those Zein relatives do not spoil you too much. Who is driving the mini bus? I imagine it would not be very relaxing.

  4. Olivia, we are looking at rainforests and how humans are destroying them. We aren't really looking at deserts. Perhaps you could write a special post for us to look at? We'd love to know about some of the plants and animals you see.

PS, my birthday isn't in 6 days. And Jio loved the pigeons. I think I'm going to leave the bird club!
